The University of Edinburgh Conferences & Events portfolio operates two key venue hubs:
Pollock Estate – a conference village at the foot of Arthur’s Seat, located 1.3 miles from Waverley train station and easily accessible via public transport. The estate can host conferences for up to 300 pax, has three dedicated conference and event venues – the purpose-built John McIntyre Conference Centre, St Leonard’s Hall, and South Hall Complex, as well as onsite hotels - The Scott and The Scholar - and summer accommodation. The estate has parking facilities and EV charging points.
Old Town Campus – venues and meeting rooms located in the heart of The University of Edinburgh city centre campus, including the iconic McEwan Hall and Playfair Library. All venues are within 7-15 minutes’ walk from Waverley train station and conveniently accessible via public transport. University-owned KM Hotel and KM Apartments are only 5 minutes’ walk away.
