This idyllic turreted mansion house, set in 10 acres of award winning gardens has been in the same family ownership since 1952. With an enviable location on the outskirts of St Andrews, you can enjoy the tranquility of the Fife countryside with the bustle of the town only 2.5km away. The Terrace Restaurant has maintained 2AA rosettes since 2007 in recognition of the high standard of cooking and quality of produce offered to our guests. Many of the herbs, vegetables and soft fruits used in our dishes are grown in our own gardens. Special dietary requirements are catered for. Rufflets is ideally situated in close proximity to a wide and varied number of activities. Golf is a natural draw for visitors to St Andrews which boasts some of the best golf courses in the world. A number of courses within 15 minutes drive of the hotel are happy to accommodate larger parties. Other activities in the local area include clay pigeon shooting, off-road driving, quad bikes and land yachting. Falconry and Highland Games can be arranged on site and whisky tasting is always popular at the end the day.
