We are currently accepting proposals from Scottish regions to self-host FAM trips following the C&IT Festival of Forums that will be taking place in Glasgow on 26- 29 July 2022. 170 UK buyers will be attending the Festival of Forums from the Corporate, Incentive & Association markets.

We will be looking for multiple regional FAM trips that should be a 2 night experience with numbers capped at 10 pax per fam trip. Buyers select their region of interest after being qualified to attend the Festival of Forums.

VisitScotland Business Events is committed to showcasing Scotland as an in international leader in sustainable & inclusive events. Proposals to host will be assessed with a large portion weighted towards these priorities.

Date of FAM trips:

29 - 31 July 2022

Below are the key considerations for post Festival of Forums FAM trips:

  • No single use plastics throughout the FAM
  • Stationary (inclusive of paper/pens/pencils) to be made of fully recyclable material
  • Consider all meals to have minimum of 1 Vegan/Vegetarian course or substantial offerings for buffets
  • Strong preference for all food to be locally sourced within 30 miles of venues
  • All gifting to be sustainable, with no "throwaway" gifts. Consider collaborations with local social enterprises & sustainability leaders.
  • Transport options with sustainability credentials
  • Green (gold/silver or bronze) accredited venues/hotels
  • Proposals should be inline with VisitScotland Business Events initiative, Journey To Change
  • Please note, proposals should be regional and incorporate a selecion of hotels and venues.

Proposals will be reviewed following submission deadline and will be assessed by VisitScotland and C&IT to ensure messaging and incorporation of Journey to Change is consistent throughout the proposed programme.
