• The first radio broadcast was sent from Dundee.
• Glamis Castle in Angus was the childhood home of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who was later known as Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.

Dundee has a twice-daily service from Monday to Friday and a Sunday service from Dundee Airport to London Heathrow.
