An intrinsic part of life in Stirling for generations The Albert Halls Stirling is a proud and dominant Victorian era venue in the heart of Stirling city centre. The doors of this wonderful building designed by William Simpson, were first opened in 1883 and guests were welcomed to a performance of Handel’s Messiah.Nowadays this grand and imposing building plays host to a huge array of show stopping performances in the large main hall, which is set over two floors with a balcony. This adaptable space regularly welcomes a diverse range of events, from high profile music concerts, orchestral performances, theatre, dance and performance art shows, fayres, wedding ceremonies, conferences and civic events.In addition, the Lesser Hall on the first floor is a wonderfully light and airy space perfect for drinks receptions or more intimate events and performances.
