SMU International is highly recommended for hotels of all sizes, destination management companies (DMC), and conference centres that actively target the North American meetings and incentives market.

Who will you meet?

Over the course of two days, SMU International will welcome more than 150 business event buyers, with a strong emphasis on highly qualified North American agencies and corporate event planners. Participants will benefit from up to 24 pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments, in addition to rich networking and educational opportunities with a diverse and carefully vetted group of buyers.

  • Free-flow connections on the floor outside of appointments.
  • Opportunity to attend all plenary content sessions.
  • Attendance at all receptions and networking opportunities.
  • All food and beverage for the duration of the event.

Cost:

Shared Table with 2 companies: $5,425 (APPROX £3,990) + VAT - includes one representative from each company on a table.

Please note this cost excludes travel and accommodation. Spaces are strictly limited for all opportunities. VisitScotland needs to ensure that the mix of suppliers meets the need of the buyers and therefore reserves the right to make the final selection.

Registering for this event is confirmation that you will attend.

In the event of oversubscription, selection criteria may include:

  • Event registration received within the deadline period.
  • Regional spread of partners – opportunity for partners across Scotland to be represented.
  • Appropriate split of partners suitable for the event.
  • Suitability of the partner’s business to effectively deliver requirements of the Business Events sector targeted at the event.
  • Previous opportunities to participate.
