P&J Live is Scotland's brand new event venue and arena bringing the best entertainment and boasting world-class conference and exhibition facilities for organisers and delegates across the globe.

Replacing the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), P&J Live is a £333 million development delivered by Aberdeen City Council in partnership with Henry Boot Developments.

The impressive stance and enormity of the new venue opened its doors for the first time to the public this summer, on 10th August. The Preview at P&J Live, gave the public the opportunity to take a look around the brand new transformational venue, enjoy local entertainment, and put the building to the test.

The venue is state-of-the-art encompassing 48,000 sqm of world class multi-purpose event space including, seven conference suites, three exhibition halls, eleven meeting rooms, a superior 15,000 capacity arena, luxurious hospitality suites, show deck, VIP lounge, and a high-end 150 seater restaurant. The development also comprises of two on-site hotels, the adjoining 4-star Hilton with 200 bedrooms and the Aloft Hotel with 150 bedrooms.

P&J Live is be operated and managed by ASM Global, the largest venue operator in the world, which leverages the experience of managing and operating venues to provide consulting advice to owners, to deliver world-class venues.

A key objective of Aberdeen City Council when delivering the new P&J Live facility was to specify that it was built to the highest environmental standards. In a changing world where CSR and Environmental issues become ever increasingly prominent, the site boasts its own energy centre, which uses local renewable resources and advanced technologies to produce an energy eco-system.

P&J Live is on course to achieve BREEAM excellent which is the highest environmental standard possible and we are proud to be the most sustainable venue of its type in the UK. P&J Live was designed to be a living environment to attract people and wildlife to the area with over 29,000 trees and shrubs planted on-site and a network of over 7km of new footpaths connecting to surrounding areas.

With unrivalled public transport connections, P&J Live is located right next to Aberdeen International Airport, the UK's most connected regional airport, just minutes from the city's new western peripheral route, and in prime position for rail links between Aberdeen and the North of Scotland. 

P&J Live offers a far more flexible and technologically advanced space than the previous AECC site, enabling it to compete nationally and internationally for new events as well as broadening the appeal of the North-East to business and leisure visitors from across the globe.
