2020 hasn't been the year we were all hoping for and although we're not able to meet face to face just yet, the VisitScotland Business Events team have been working to create a new vision for Business Events in Scotland. Over the last 8 months, we've reviewed, analysed and have a plan in place for the renewal of Business Events and a new journey you can all be part of. As we prepare to reveal the social transformation potential of events in Scotland, here is a reminder of who is here to support you in your journey and ready to help you welcome your guests from around the world to Scotland, when the time is right.

Richard is your main contact in the Americas for our guests working in the corporate and incentive markets. He is responsible for developing engaging activity that shows you the kind of country Scotland is and the world-renowned hospitality you will enjoy when you arrive.

Whilst his role has changed in recent months, with more virtual opportunities, the objective has remained the same; to help you discover Scotland and fall in love with a country whose possibilities are almost endless.

Richard is always available to meet friends old and new and help you on your next journey to Scotland.

Rory Archibald

Rory leads the associations and sectors side of the business events team, promoting Scotland internationally to our associations and sector specific partners.

Rory and his team can help you grasp unique collaboration opportunities with Scotland's communities through their detailed knowledge of the country's academic, research and industry sectors.

Once we are able to meet face to face once more, Rory believes it is an opportunity to confront head on the challenges our world faces, by collaborating, knowledge sharing and using the power of business events to champion change for the better in our society.
