VisitScotland Business Events team are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Gold Stella Award for the Best International CVB operating in North Americas Regions. The award, given by Northstar Meetings Group is in recognition of the support given to the industry over the past twelve months, and to add further weight to the accolade it was achieved through receiving the most amount of votes from North American based clients over two rounds of voting. Following this the short listed organisations made a final submission to an industry panel of judges.
The focus of the submission was based on the work undertaken to win the prestigious Global Incentive Summit in Edinburgh 2019 that welcomed prestigious incentive travel buyers with top incentive destinations and suppliers from around the world. As well as this, the submission featured VisitScotland's virtual roundtables that were produced for various Business Events markets to gain insights as to how COVID-19 was affecting our industry and where we, as a DMO and convention bureau, could support our community.
This is great news for Team Scotland, where the strength of our industry community is very much involved with not only delivering the engagement and support highlighted above, but also in making Scottish hospitality the best in the world. It goes without saying that we all look forward showing you our hospitality again, when the time right. #ScotlandWillWait.
