New for this year and following the hugely successful Legends campaign for the association market, VisitScotland is offering a selected number of corporate and incentive venues and/or suppliers the opportunity to showcase themselves to an exclusive group of sector specific event planners through a 3-day programme in Scotland.

DATES & LOCATION:

  • September or October 2019
  • February or March 2020

TARGET AUDIENCE:

UK MICE industry specific clients

FORMAT:

Focusing on the Food & Drink (September or October) and the Automotive (February or March) sectors for 2019, VisitScotland will bring up a maximum of 10 clients for each “sector connector” who book events for the likes of Aston Martin, BMW, Coca Cola and Danone.

To ensure the programmes are tailored to meet the requirements of the clients, we ask that any venue and/or supplier who wish to be involved in the programme contact us with proposals that demonstrate a strong connection and offering to the specific sector.  VisitScotland will then create the itinerary and co-host the trip.  All flights will be paid for by VisitScotland, however all other elements of the event in terms of accommodation, dining, activities should be covered by the proposing hosts.

A 2-night, 3-day programme based on a familiarization trip format.

COST:

VisitScotland will cover the cost of the client’s transport from England and Ireland to Scotland. All other costs are to be covered by those who have submitted proposals to host.

OPEN FOR PROPOSALS AND INTEREST FROM JUNE 2019

We anticipate a strong response from the industry for these new events so please get in touch soon if these are of interest to you. Please note that spaces are strictly limited for all opportunities. VisitScotland needs to ensure that the mix of suppliers meets the need of the buyers and therefore reserves the right to make the final selection. Selection will not be made on a “first come, first served” basis.
